I am a London-based book designer with over 20 years of publishing experience, working on fiction titles, and non-fiction titles across all areas of visual creativity from the arts, architecture, design, photography, fashion, film, and music, and also archaeology, history and popular culture.
I have worked for over a decade as an out-of-house freelance designer for Thames & Hudson, as well as a few smaller independent publishers such as Amber Books, Nomad, Splendid Publications, and self-published authors.
I have a love of colour and find inspiration everywhere... from album covers, Swiss typography and textile design through to sweet wrappers, street art and letterpress printmaking.
Away from book covers, I enjoy photographing rubbish instagram.com/bethtunnicliffe

Thank you so much, Beth, for the striking & highly original cover you designed for Immortal Thoughts. That was a brilliant idea, it sums up the different sides of the text very cleverly…smart too, I love the way it connects with the end papers.

Beth is a commercially savvy and creative jacket designer, with a highly developed sense of composition and wonderful appreciation of colour that informs all her designs - she's a pleasure to
work with and I highly recommend her.

It is a joy to work with Beth on our books, she is calm in a crisis, wonderfully creative with the material we give her, and her attention to details and deadlines is second to none.
